Adults and parents with children at Waipukurau Primary School in Central Hawke’s Bay are being asked to check their immunisation status following a confirmed case of Mumps at the school. -
Laboratory locations
The Hawke’s Bay District Health Board Laboratory Service has facilities in Hastings, Napier, Central Hawke’s Bay and Wairoa.

Gastro illness in Havelock North update Monday 15th August
Presentations to accident and medical centres continue to increase. Yesterday 183 people presented to a GP and Hawke’s Bay Hospital had 11 people present overnight, two were admitted.

Ten cases Paratyphoid now confirmed
Ten cases of Paratyphoid Fever have now been confirmed by Hawke’s Bay District Health Board, and a number of other cases have been tested with results still pending. The district health board has also identified a link to another Tangi recently held in the bay.
