Your rights
Every person who uses health and disability services has rights. The organisations and people who provide health and disability services have duties. These rights and duties are clearly set out in the Code of Health and Disability Services - Consumer Rights.

Neurology service
If your family doctor thinks you are suffering from a complaint to do with the nervous system they may ask advice from a neurologist, who is a specialist in diagnosing such complaints. Your doctor may also decide to refer you to a neurologist for an opinion.
