Host responsibility
A host is anyone that receives or entertains other people as guests. When alcohol is served or if guests bring it with them, hosts have a role to play in ensuring that alcohol is consumed safely on their premises. Host responsibility is all about creating responsible drinking environments.

Six cases Paratyphoid now confirmed
Six cases of Paratyphoid Fever have now been confirmed by Hawke’s Bay District Health Board, today (26 September). Five confirmed cases have required hospital care at Hawke’s Bay Hospital, and another has needed treatment in Auckland. All patients are recovering with treatment.

Four cases Paratyphoid now confirmed
25 September, 2017
Hawke’s Bay District Health Board is investigating four confirmed cases of Paratyphoid Fever and is following up three suspect cases. All four confirmed cases have required hospital care at Hawke’s Bay Hospital. At least two of the cases ate mussels gathered from Napier’s Ahuriri area.
