More than $400,000 will be invested into Central Hawke’s Bay Health Services before Christmas with the addition of new state-of-the-art digital radiology equipment at Central Hawke’s Bay Health Centre.

Hawke’s Bay District Health Board’s (HBDHB) Public Health Team has been advised by Capital and Coast District Health Board that there is a patient in Wellington Hospital diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS).
The Acute Assessment Unit (AAU) is an inpatient short stay unit which provides an acute service for unwell medical patients (non-critical) who would otherwise be managed in the Emergency Department.
Members of New Zealand Nurses Organisation are now taking strike action for 24 hours from 7am today until 7am Friday 13 July. What you need to know:Hawke’s Bay Hospital is very busy.
